The shard wall mirror was created from a desire to strip the mirror back to its essentials. The result is a softly beveled elliptical glass that appears to float just off the wall, creating a crisp shadow line that gives the piece its sculptural presence. Every element is considered, from the twenty six millimeter stand off profile, to the precise finishing of timber and glass. Designed to hang four ways, the shard adapts to its environment, while retaining its calm sculptural character. The shard wall mirror was designed to work throughout the home, bringing a sculptural, yet understated presence to a wide range of interiors. Rather than being limited to a bedroom or dressing area, its clean elliptical form settles easily in an entry, above a console or fireplace, or within a living space. A concealed system allows for four orientations, giving you the freedom to fit the room rather than force it. Crafted from premium6 millimeter polished mirror glass, it quietly complements contemporary architecture while offering a timeless balance of function, proportion, and form. The design was shortlisted in the 2019 VIVID Design Awards and received a “highly commended” recognition in the 2019 IDEA Awards.
