Some tables are made to fill a space. This one was made to define it. This week, a 3.6 metre dining table leaves our workshop for its new home. Crafted in oak with a soft walnut finish. The 38 mil tri-directional top plays with perspective, the grain drawing you in, shifting as you move around it. A soft half bullnose edge lightens the scale and flows into the sculptural base beneath. This design was also developed for the Horseshoe House featured on Grand Designs Australia.It’s always rewarding to see the language evolve for another story. Today, the craftsmanship of the top.
